Chest (Body Composition)
Start with the probe half way between the nipple and the intersection of the arm. Orientation of the probe is diagonal from short axis perpendicular with the line connecting the nipple and the intersection of the arm and the body.
- Have athlete stand to the right of the scanner facing the opposite direction.
- Enter the annotation CHEST into the ultrasound.
- Place probe at the start location with the the proper orientation.
- Slide slightly onto the pectoral muscle to get a flat fat/muscle boundary.
- Freeze the image.
