GE LOGIQe: Step 3 - Annotation Settings

Setup Annotations

  1. Utility > System > General
    1. 'Enable Hotkeys' checkbox
    2. Save
  2. Utility > Application > Preset > MuscleSound
    1. Select Library > 'MSK'
    2. Save
  3. Utility > Comments > Libraries
    1. Library > MSK
    2. Clear all fields under 'Left', 'Right', etc
    3. Type in each muscle side to be scanned (ALL CAPS)
      1. RIGHT RF
      2. LEFT RF
      3. RIGHT GS
      4. LEFT GS
      5. RIGHT VL
      6. LEFT VL
      7. RIGHT HL
      8. LEFT HL
      9. etc
    4. Click each hotkey field followed by the designation (which muscle side it represents)
    5. Save
  4. Utility > Comments > Annotations
    1. Text Font size: 22
    2. Text color: White
    3. Text Boundary: Word Wrapping
    4. Enable Type Over Mode: Checked
    5. Arrow Length: 30
    6. Arrow Size: 30
    7. Keep Arrow Angle: Unchecked
    8. Retain while entering or leaving timeline mode: checked
    9. textoverlay in multiple images: checked
    10. erase when the image is unfrozen: checked
    11. show tooltip: checked
    12. erase when the probe or application is changed: unchecked
    13. Save
    14. Exit
  5. On scanning screen 
    1. spacebar
    2. move cursor just off the right edge of the image area left of the ruler, at about 1.5cm depth
    3. F11 key  (this will usually set the default comment position)
    4. Verify by freeze and un freeze followed by the spacebar
      1. If unsuccessful, try using ctrl alt P instead of F11

Setup Body Composition Annotations

  1. Setup Body Composition Preset
    1. Go to scanning screen
    2. Ensure MuscleSound Preset is selected
    3. Preset
    4. Save 'New'
    5. name it 'BodyComp' 
    6. Overwrite desired preset
    7. Save
    8. Utility > Application > Preset > BodyComp
      1. Select Library > 'Adult'
      2. Save
    9. > Comments > Libraries > Library > Adult
    10. Setup the sites to the hotkeys in the correct order (ALL CAPS)
      1. CHEST, SS TRI, MA, SI, UMB, THIGH
      2. Save
      3. Exit
