Initial and Follow-up Evaluations

How is my patient/athlete's routine affecting their MuscleHealth?

This assessment provides an individualized view into key MuscleHealth factors to help

  • Track important contributors to health and wellbeing
  • Assess current status and potential of a muscles' fuel storage capacity
  • Measure baseline and subsequent period comparisons to follow effects of intervention
1
Select Initial Evaluation from the menu
Scan at least one to two days after exercise to ensure the muscle(s) are at rest, and recovered from prior sessions.
2
Scan Muscles of Interest
Both left and right thigh scans will provide the best snapshot of your body's MuscleHealth. Add additional muscle groups as needed.
3

Design an action-oriented intervention guided by assessment results

Summary statuses provide an overall view of current muscle size and rating.
MuscleSound will also analyze the recent trends of your patients/athletes providing a broader perspective of their status, particularly how 'lifestyle habits and behaviors' may impact MuscleHealth.
Charts will also provide feedback on historical responses to your interventions. What was effective previously? How did their MuscleHealth respond?
It is also valuable to drill-down into a specific muscle group or muscle side to ask some questions about what could be the cause of abnormal results.
4
Schedule a follow-up session
Use the scheduling tool as a reminder for the subject/athlete of the prescribed intervention. Send results to them as an additional reminder to return for a follow-up. Confirm the effectiveness of the intervention the next day, and at appropriate intervals until full recovery is achieved.
5
Perform a series of follow-up assessments as necessary
Track and monitor the response of you interventions. Modify as needed.
